BEFORE THE LOK ADALAT HELD IN DISTRICT CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORUM–II, U.T. CHANDIGARH Consumer Complaint No.120 of 2013 Arun Singh Thakur Vs. TATA Teleservices Limited PRESENT: Sh.Arun Singh Thakur, Complainant in person. Sh.Mandeep Sharma, Counsel for OP, alongwith Sh.Tarun Khurana, Senior Executive Legal of OP. Dated the 14th day of June, 2013 ORDER A compromise has been arrived at between the parties with the efforts of Lok Adalat. Sh.Mandeep Sharma, Counsel for OP, alongwith Sh.Tarun Khurana, Senior Executive Legal of OP, has made the following statement, recorded separately;- “The OP offers to write off all bills (Rs.1800/-) against Phone No.9041160888 claimed from the complainant till today. The OP also offers to refund security of Rs.850/- to the complainant in cash. The phone has already been disconnected on 01.02.2013. So, now nothing will be claimed from the complainant regarding the telephone connection. No more calls will be made to the complainant regarding any dues against the telephone connection.” Sh.Arun Singh Thakur, Complainant, has accepted the offer and has made the following statement, recorded separately;- “I accept the offer. I have received Rs.850/- in cash towards refund of security from counsel for OP. The complaint be disposed of accordingly.” In view of the above statements made by the parties, it is ordered that the OP shall write off all bills (Rs.1800/-) against Phone No.9041160888 claimed from the complainant till today i.e. 14.06.2013. The parties shall be bound by the statements made before this Forum. Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly. Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost.
