This order disposes of miscellaneous application No.134 of 2016 filed in First Appeal No.940 of 2013 titled ‘Branch Manager, Reliance General Insurance Company Limited Versus Tarsem Singh and others’, which was dismissed by this Commission vide order dated December 24th, 2013. Since, the appeal was dismissed, the statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited at the time of filing the appeal, was directed to be refunded to the complainant.
2. By filing the present application, the applicant/Opposite Party No.4 seeks refund of the said amount in its favour because the entire amount has been paid to Tarsem Singh-complainant vide Assessment Detail (Photocopy Annexure-I).
3. In view of this, the statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- be refunded to the applicant-appellant against proper receipt and identification in accordance with rules.
4. Disposed of.
