The complaint is partly allowed in the following terms. The opposite party shall refund Rs.3,500/- to the complainant together with interest at 12 % p.a. from 1-7-2000 till date of payment.  The said amount shall be paid by the opposite party to the complainant within 30 days from the date of communication of this order.  The rest of the claims of the complainant are disallowed.  Both parties are directed to bear their respective costs of the proceedings.
