Learned counsel for the petitioners representing Electricity Distribution Company CESU is present.

         This revision is directed against the ex parte interim order dated 15.2.2019 passed by the learned District Forum, Dhenkanal in Misc. Case No. 10 of 2019 arising out of CC No. 17 of 2019 directing the petitioners not to disconnect   power supply of the OP/complainant.

         Heard.

         Section 13(3-B) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 read with 17 of Consumer Protection Regulations, 2005 which cast mandate on the  Consumer Forum to hear and dispose of objection to an interim application within 45 days failing which ex parte interim order stands automatically vacated.

         The impugned ex parte interim order was passed on 15.2.2019. The period stipulated under Regulation 17 has already expired. Upon hearing the objection, if any, filed by the revision petitioner before the learned District Forum the interim application was to be disposed of within the stipulated period by either vacating the ex parte interim order or by making the interim order absolute. In either of the case, the impugned order does not survive to be assailed for which the revision has become infructuous.

       Accordingly, the revision is disposed of as infructuous.
