        It is stated that parties have amicably settled the matter.  It is stated that the settlement is oral and as per settlement OP shall refund the principle amount i.e. Rs.5,77,722/- alongwith interest of 10% from the date of deposit to the complainant.

        Complainant, who is an advocate, is present in person.  He has confirmed the above position and has stated that on above terms the matter has been settled and as such he is not interested in pursuing the present complaint & he be permitted to withdraw the same.

        The complainant has further submitted that he be given some litigations expenses on the matter being pursued since 2013.

        Ld. Counsel for the OP submits that the settlement amount shall be paid to the complainant within four weeks from today.

        In view of the settlement between the parties, as per terms stated above, the present complaint stands dismissed as withdrawn.

        Besides the settlement amount as stated above, the OP shall also pay Rs.7,000/- to the complainant towards litigation expenses.

        The parties shall remain bound by the statement made above.

        File be consigned to record room.                 

        As prayed notice is also given ‘dasti’.
