Complainant is present today. Today is fixed for admission hearing of the case.The record reveals that the Complainant had booked a consignment i.e. blankets, perfume, new cloths, vanity bag, iron heater, tea, hair oil, belts, foods etc. from Zajan Post Office at Saudi Arabia on 13.07.21 and the weight was 60 kgs. But on 29.07.21 when it was delivered under the care of OP No. 1 and by the OP No.2, 8 kgs. of materials were lost from the parcel. But till date the OPs are reluctant enough to give any satisfactory answer to the queries of the Complainant. The Complainant filed the case before this Commission directing the OP to pay Rs. 25,000/- along with interest and compensation. But on scrutiny of the record we find that no convencing document has been filed by the Complainant regarding the shortage of consignment. So, the case is required to be dimissed on merit due to want of satisfactory documents. Hence, it is ORDERED that the instant case No. CC/41/2023 is not admitted and as such it is dismissed on merit. Let plain copy of this order be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties / Ld. Advocate/Agent on record, by hand /by post under proper acknowledgment as per rules, for information and necessary action.
