O R D E R  DT. 06.12. 2014.

The record is put up in the Second National Lok Adalat. The complainant and the advocate for the complainant and  O.Ps are present.

It is alleged by the complainant that he was assessed electric bill on average / load factor basis as a result of which  a huge amount is subsisting in his account. The complainant approached the O.Ps for correction of his load factor / average basis bills but the O.Ps turned a deaf ear to it.  The complainant  therefore prays before this Forum for revision of the average / load factor bills and for passing necessary order as deemed fit and proper.

It is alleged by the O.Ps that  due to meter fault the bills were prepared on average / load factor basis . The O.Ps. have already revised average/ load factor bills of the complainant from April-04 to August-06 withdrawing amount of Rs.9,865.96 .

Heard both the parties. Taking into consideration of the  facts of the case  we disposed of the case on the following direction:-

As per the statement of the O.Ps, the O.Ps. have revised the bill from April-2004 to August-2006  deducting a sum of Rs.9865.96  from the bill  which will be reflected in the bill of the complainant in the month of December.

Further in addition to this, this  Forum directs  the O.Ps. to revise the disputed load factor bill  of the complainant from  October-2000 to  March-2004 on the basis of the average consumption of meter bearing No. 3984594   as per the previous revision i.e 217 units bi monthly .
