Present:         Ms. Garima Bose, Counsel for the Appellant.

                     Sh. Anuj Chauhan, Counsel for the Respondent-1.

        Notice issued to respondent-2 is not received back. However, appellant and respondent-1 has agreed into a settlement. Appellant has agreed to pay Rs. 30,000/- in full and final settlement of refund of the value of the refrigerator including compensation. Respondent-1 has agreed to accept the same.

        The parties have also agreed that the defective refrigerator will remain with respondent-1.

        In view of the above settlement, appeal is disposed of and the order of the District Forum is modified in terms of the settlement.

        Payment will be sent to the appellant by respondent within 4 weeks from today.

        File be consigned to record room.
