ORDER

Learned Counsel for the Petitioners submitted that he has filed this Revision Petition against the Order of Tamil Nadu State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (for short ‘State Commission’) dated 25.03.2024 wherein his Application for condonation of delay of 23 days in filing the Appeal against the Order of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Salem, was not taken up on account of non-appearance of the Petitioners.

Heard the arguments of learned Counsel for both the parties and perused the record.

Since the matter has not been heard on merits, we are of the considered opinion that let the State Commission hear the matter on merits duly condoning the delay of 23 days, subject to a cost of Rs.10,000/- to be deposited in the legal aid A/c of the State Commission and Rs.15,000/- to be paid to the Respondent No.1 for meeting her litigation cost.

The Order of the State Commission dated 25.03.2024 is set aside.

Parties to appear before the State Commission on 22.11.2024.

The Revision Petition is accordingly disposed of.
