1. This complaint is filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. When the case came up for consideration on 19/10/2022 both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred to settlement talk to be held on 12/11/2022. On 12/11/2022, both the parties filed a compromise memo stating that the matter is settled. As per the memo of settlement, the opposite parties agreed to repair the product free of cost and the opposite parties also agreed to issue extended warranty for three more months for the repaired items. The opposite parties also agreed to complete the repair work within one week from the date of settlement. The compromise memo signed and filed by parties to the proceedings is accepted and recorded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this case is to be disposed of in terms of the compromise.

                   In the result, complaint is disposed in terms of the compromise. The memo of compromise dated 12/11/2022 shall form part of this order.

                   A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
