ORDER

JUSTICE SRI.K.R.UDAYABHANU    : PRESIDENT

The appellants are the opposite parties in OP.28/2003 in the file of CDRF, Malappuram. The appellants are under orders to pay a sum of Rs.14200/- to the complainant and cost of Rs.2000/-.
          2. The matter relates to the supply of the defective TV and the refusal of the appellants to repair or replace the same. The Forum appointed a Commissioner. The report of the commissioner is marked Ext.C1. The Commissioner has reported that the appellants objected to opening the TV and inspecting the same to find out the defect. On the basis of the report of the Commissioner the Forum directed to pay cost of the TV a sum of Rs.14,200/-. The counsel represented that right now they are willing to replace the TV but the order to pay amount may be modified.
On a consideration of the order of the Forum we find that there is no illegality at all in the appreciation of evidence or in the order of the disposal. The price of the TV admittedly is Rs.14,200/-. The Forum has only ordered to pay the above amount and cost. We find that there is no scope for interference. The appeal is dismissed in limine.
