The case was heard on 30/04/2021 in the office of the D.C-cum-President,C.D.R.F Tawang. 
Earlier, the District Consumer Commission had passed the order in favour of the Complainant under COPRA Act 2019. Wherein, the department was ordered to cuff up Rs 60,000 being the amount for value of articles tampered, Rs 20,000 for mental harassment and legal services,and Rs 3000 interest on the amount delayed.The Grievances redressal mechanism has provided great relief to the citizen. The above case has sufficiently proved that service negligence and deficiency by the govt agencies are not coated with black tar and are answerable to the real master service Citizen.
 A Government agency-Dept. of Posts, Ministry of Communication, G.O.I (Respondent) has rightly been slapped a penalty of Rs 83,000/- in a case of Deficiency of service, Smti Yeshi Chhoten (Complainant) single mother from Lhou village, Tawang received the Cheque of Rs 83,000 from the President District Consumer Commission.
Hence, both the parties agreed and the case was disposed off on 30/04/2021
