The brief facts of the case are that complainant is a consumer of OP, having agricultural connection to run his submersible pump. He used to pay bills regularly. The meter of the said connection was stopped since Aug.2015. The complainant requested several times to change the meter but of no result. Although the meter was stopped but the OP sent bills regularly. Then the complainant requested the OP to replace the said damage/ stop meter and correct the illegal bills but OP do not take necessary steps. As a result he getting no alternative compelled to file the instant complaint praying to replace the damaged meter and to correct the bills for the period from Aug.2015 to Feb.2016.

The complaint filed non 29.3.2016 and next date fixed on 08.04.2016 for admission hearing. On 08.04.2016 complainant filed a petition praying time by his agent and next date fixed on 29.4.2016 for admission hearing. Thereafter on 29.4.2016 & 20.5.2016 complainant filed time petitions by his agent for admission hearing and payer for time was allowed with a direction. That on 03.6.2016 complainant filed Ld. Lawyers hazira but none present on calls as such next date is fixed on 29.6.2016 for admission hearing i.d. legal consequences.

Today no steps taken on behalf of the complainant and none present on calls.

After perusing the case record and taking the conduct of the complainant in consideration we are in the opinion that either the dispute has already been settled or the complainant is no way interested to proceed with the case in question. The complainant not only misused the govt. machinery to set in motion his complaint but also lapsed the valuable times of this Forum for which he may be fined.

In these circumstances we are constrained to dismiss the complaint being not admitted.

Let a plain copy of this Order be supplied free of cost to the complainant by ordinary post forthwith, for information & necessary action.
