The Complainant case is that he is a bona fide Domestic Consumer of the O.P./WBSEDCL having Consumer I/D No.232019-735 and Meter No.55552452. Initially an electric Meter bearing No.HH112717 was installed but it was abandoned as it was found defective. And thereafter in the Year 2007 the said defective meter was replaced by the new meter as referred to above and a yellow card was issued in the name of the complainant. But due to wrong meter reading the complainant received electric bills for excessive amount from the month of October, 2015 to December, 2015 with billing data dated: 18-03-2016. Though the aforesaid bills were paid by the complainant but he has come before this Commission to get permanent relief with regard to the electric bills.

The O.P. filed Written Version denying material allegations made in the complaint  contending inter alia that all the deposited bills has been adjusted in full in the succeeding electric bills from time to time. In support of this contention relevant adjusted bills have been produced at the time of hearing and the Ld. Advocate for the complainant after going through those adjusted bills accepted the billing position. However he urged the Commission to pass necessary order against the O.P.  to prevent any such recurrence in future.

The concerned Station Manager assures before the Commission to send current bills henceforth without any discrepancy.

With this observation it is ordered that the  case is disposed of on merit by directing the O.P. to send electric bills  to the complainant on the basis of regular and correct meter readings  henceforth and adjust all the discrepancies in the existing bills if any.

Both parties be supplied copy of this judgement free of cost.
