Order No. 18.
Dated 07.08.2023
The case of the Complainant in short is that the Complainant is a consumer to the O.P. Station Manager, Nabagram Customer Care Centre WBSEDCL. The Complainant’s consumer I.D. is 313296524. The Complainant got electric connection for irrigating his cultivated land. The O.P. issued a fictitious and inflated bill of Rs. 1,33,563/- having no basis and as such the Complainant requested the O.P. to correct the said bill but the O.P. did not pay any heed to his request. Therefore, the Complainant is compelled to file the instant case.
Notice was served upon the O.P. but O.P. has not turned up and as such the order passed on 03.03.2020 for ex-parte hearing. But it is a matter of regret since that time the Complainant has not turned up and he has not filed evidence in support of his case.
On perusing the materials on record we find that there is no deficiency of service as alleged. More over the Complainant has not adduced evidence in support of his complaint. Such being the position the instant case is liable to be dismissed on merit.
In the result, the Consumer case fails.
Fees paid are correct. Hence, it is
