This petition is filed praying to transfer the CC.No.6/2018 on the file of District Commission, Coimbatore, to District Commission, Chennai.

ORDER

JUSTICE R. SUBBIAH,  PRESIDENT   

1.       Petitioner appeared through authorized representative.  Counsel for Respondent present.   Bothsides Heard.

2.       This petition is filed, praying for transfer of the Consumer Complaint in CC.No.6/2018 on the file of District Commission, Coimbatore, to the District Commission at Chennai.

3.       We have heard the petitioner appeared in person and the counsel appearing for the Respondent.  This transfer application has been filed during February 2020.  The petitioner seeking transfer of his case to District Commission at Chennai mainly on raising allegations against the presiding officer, stating that he was unnecessarily giving adjournments etc., But as of now there is no presiding officer in District Commission, Coimbatore, and steps are being taken to appoint a new Presiding Officer. Moreover, the post of the President is vacant in District Commissions at Chennai also.  Therefore, transferring the case to Chennai also will not serve the purpose.  Moreover, we also find no valid reason assigned by the petitioner for seeking transfer of his case from Coimbatore to Chennai.

4.       For the reasons stated above, the Transfer Petition is hereby dismissed.  There will be no order as to cost.
