CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 872  OF  2022

ORDER

1.   Vakalatnama on behalf of OP has been filed.

2.   At this stage, the parties have settled the matter. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Vidya Nand Kumar, Branch Manager of OP has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties with the term that OP shall pay one time settlement amount of Rs.15,000/- in the account of the complainant and also issue income tax deduction certificate alongwith letter from the Bank to the complainant within two weeks from today failing which the OP shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. Vide his separate statement, Sh.Gurmukh Singh, Counsel for Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of Sh.Vidya Nand Kumar, Branch Manager of OP and prayed that the complaint be disposed off in terms of aforesaid settlement.

3.        In view of the statements of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed off by passing the following order:-

     (i)  The OP shall pay one time settlement amount of Rs.15,000/- in the account of the complainant and also   issue income tax deduction certificate alongwith letter   from the Bank to the complainant within two weeks from      today i.e. 17.02.2023.

     (ii) In case OP fails to pay the aforesaid amount    within the stipulated period, then OP shall be liable to   pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 9% p.a.      from the date of filing of present complaint i.e.     17.10.2022 till its realization.

4.        The complaint is disposed off accordingly.

5.        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
