File taken up today, i.e. on 14.09.2024 in the National Lok Adalat.Statement of Sh.A.K.Arora, Adv. Counsel for the OPs No.1 to 3 has recorded to the effect that the Bank/OPs have already made payment of Rs.1,43.239.27 from the claimed amount of Rs.2,12,064/-. The OP/Bank has sanctioned an amount of Rs.68,825/- being the remaining amount to be payable to the complainant. Copy of sanctioned amount is “Mark-A”. The Bank shall make the payment within a period of 20 days from the date of passing of award. The award may be passed accordingly.
In view of statement suffered by Ld. Counsel for opposite parties and considering the fact that the good sense has prevailed upon the parties and they have settled the matter amicably. So accordingly, the award is passed with the direction to the OPs No.1 to 3 to pay Rs.68,825/-, being the remaining amount, to the complainant within a period of 20 days from the date of passing of award, failing which the OPs will be liable to pay interest @ 9% per annum to the complainant from the date of filing of complaint till realisation. The present complaint is accordingly disposed of. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
