Counsel for the complainant has tendered certified copy of the order of the Supreme Court in the matter of State Bank of India & Ors. Vs. Annachalam Muthu & Ors. in Special Leave to Appeal (Civil) No.17612/2009 whereby the order of the High Court passed in writ petition has been stayed. Certified copy is taken on record. Learned counsel for the complainant on the strength of this order is seeking stay of the proceedings of this case. The issue involved in this consumer complaint is different from the issue involved in the SLP filed before the Supreme Court. Therefore, we are not inclined to stay the proceedings. List on 31.7.2014 for arguments on maintainability of the consumer complaint.
