Paramjeet Kaur vs. SBI General Insurance Co.

               Petitioner with Smt. Anjana Chaudhary, Adv.

                                     

             In terms of order dated 13.3.2024 passed by this Commission, the petitioner has not furnished surety bonds for release of award amount in the sum of Rs.943127/- in her favour, rather, she suffered statement, consenting to convert the said amount in the shape of FDR in favour of President, Distt. Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Yamuna Nagar at Jagadhri and she may inform as and when she is in a position to receive the same.

             In view of the statement of the petitioner an amount of Rs.943127/-, which is lying undisbursed in this Commission be converted into FDR in Nationalised Bank in favour of President of the Commission and on the application of the petitioner, it may be encashed and payment may be released in her favour, provided, meanwhile, FA No.A/1369/2023 is not decided and if decided, then, the amount along with interest shall be go infavour of the winning party concerned in the light of order passed by the Haryana State Consumer Disputes Redresal Commission, Panchkula in FA No.A/1369/2023.  Certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties concerned, free of cost. One copy of the order along with FDR be retained in safe custody and photocopy of the FDR also be given to the petitioner. Record of the present execution petition be sent to the records, treating it, unsatisfied. .
