Heard counsel for the petitioner. The opposite party had not filed written statement before the District Forum and the claim of the petitioner-complainant was allowed. In appeal filed by the opposite party, the State Commission set aside the order of the District Forum but instead of compensation of Rs.1,00,000/-, compensation of Rs.2,000/- was awarded. -2- The matter arose out of rejection of tender filed by the complainant and we fail to understand as to how the complainant would qualify to be a consumer within the definition of ‘Consumer’ under Section 2 (I) (d) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. Be that as it may, we do not find that there is any case for interference in the impugned order passed by the State Commission. Revision petition is accordingly dismissed with no order as to costs.
