Ranjeet Singh Vs. Star Health

                                                (Notice of the complaint was not ordered against the opponent  No.2).

 

ORDER:-

                       

1.             This case is taken up on today, before Lok Adalat. Statement dated 24.8.2023 suffered by the counsel for the opponent and the counsel for the complainant, without making any adverse comment, on the act and conduct of the any of the parties, to the case, matter being amicably settled between the parties.  

     2.               The complaint is, partly, accepted against the opponent No.1, holding it liable, to make the payment of insurance claim, in the sum of Rs.12,000/- (Twelve Thousand Only), to the complainant, within the period of 60 days, from the date of this order, in default of it, opponent shall be liable to make the payment of simple interest @ 8 % p.a., on the amount of Rs.12,000/- from the date of this order, till its actual payment. It is further, made clear, in case, complainant is constrained to file the execution petition before this Commission, then, expenditure incurred on the execution proceedings shall be liable, to be paid by the opponent No.1, as per the assessment made by the Commission, at an appropriate stage.

3.                     File be consigned to the records.
