CC No.243 of 2023.

Jaspreet Singh      Vs.     Star Health.

 

Present:            Sh. Tej Partap Singh, Adv. for the complainant.

                         Sh. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Adv. for the opponent No.1.

                         (Notice of the complaint was not ordered against opponent No.2).   

                         

                 On the basis of even dated application filed on behalf of the opponent No.1, file taken up on today. Counsel for the complainant also present before this Commission. The parties have entered into amicable settlement and Sh. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Adv. on behalf of the opponent No.1, offered payment of Rs.25,400/- to the complainant, as full and final settlement of the matter, within the period of 60 days from today.  The counsel for the complainant accepted to the offer made by counsel for the opponent No.1. Statement of counsel for the opponent No.1 and the counsel for the complainant recorded.

                     Keeping in view the statement made by the counsel for the opponent No.1 and the counsel for the complainant, without passing any adverse comment on the act and conduct of any of the parties, matter being amicably settled between the parties, the complaint is, accepted, against the opponent No.1, holding it liable to make payment of Rs.25,400/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Four Hundred only), to the complainant, as full and final settlement of the matter, within the period of 60 days from the date of order, in default of it, the opponent No.1 shall liable to make payment of simple interest @8% per annum from the date of order till actual payment. The Reader of this Commission is directed to record the necessary entry in the relevant register or computer, showing the final disposal of the complaint on today instead of 09.10.2024. Certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to records.
