Pankaj Mittal Versus Star Health & Allied Ins.

CC No. 409 of 2016.

 

Present: Sh. Pankaj Mittal complainant in person with counsel Sh. Gaurav Gupta Adv. 

              Sh. Parmod Gupta, Advocate, counsel for OPs.

 

                        File taken up today on the application of both the parties.  However, both the parties have compromised. Learned counsel for the Ops Sh. Parmod Gupta as well as complainant have given their statement to this Forum recorded separately. As per this compromise, OPs are ready to pay Rs. 1,03,370/- to the complainant as full and final settlement which has been accepted by the complainant himself. Hence, as per compromise, we direct the OPs to pay an amount of Rs. 1,03,370/- within a period of 30 days failing which complainant shall be entitled to recover the interest at the rate of 7% per annum for the defaulting period. Parties are bound by their statements recorded in the Forum. The present complaint stands partly allowed in the above terms.  Copies of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs as per rules. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
