ORDER
Both parties have filed Joint Memo dtd.19.01.18 for settlement of dispute. The Joint Memo is duly signed by the Complainant and his counsel, so also the learned counsel for the Op. The contents of the said Joint Memo are explained to the Complainant who admits the contents as true and correct. Ongoing through the contents of Joint Memo, it appears that the matter is fully and finally settled for an amount of Rs.6 lakhs. In this context, the learned counsel for the Op handed over the DD bearing no.197593/15.01.2018 for an amount of Rs.6 lakhs and the same have been received by the Complainant in our presence in the open court.
We have gone through the contents of the pleadings of the Complainant. We do not find any impediment to allow the Joint Memo as the contents of the Joint Memo are not extraneous to the contents of the complaint. In this context, the Joint Memo is allowed. The matter is settled by amicable settlement between the parties to the lis. Accordingly it is allowed.
Both parties are directed to bear their own cost.
