| Final Order / Judgement | Order no.2 Dated 18.01.2023 Ld. Advocate for the complainant is present. The case is taken up for admission hearing. At this stage Ld. Advocate for the complainant files photo copy of the Aadhaar card of the complainant. For the purpose of territorial jurisdiction of the case, Ld. Advocate for the complainant referred the address of the complainant mentioned in the cause title of the complaint application. The present address of the complainant mentioned in the complaint application is as follows :- “New Address -36, Rowland Road, Euphoria Heights, Kolkata-700020, P.S.-Maidan.” It appears from the photo copy of the Aadhaar card of the complainant that premises No. 36, Rowland Road, Euphoria Heights, Kolkata-700020 is under Police Station Ballygunge. The all other addresses mentioned in the cause title of complaint application in respect of the complainant and the opposite parties are beyond the territorial jurisdiction of this commission even the present address of the complainant also. In view of the matter, it is apparent on the face of the record that the complainant has deliberately misquoted the name of the Police Station as ‘Maidan’ instead of Ballygunge Police Station. This commission lacks territorial jurisdiction to try the case. Hence, it is O R D E R E D that the complaint case be and the same is dismissed without cost. | |
