File taken up today, i.e. on 14.09.2024 in the National Lok Adalat. Statement of Sh.Nitish Arora, Adv. Counsel for the OPs No.1 & 2 has already been recorded on 13.09.2024 to the effect that the Company is ready to settle the mediclaim dispute in question for a sum of Rs.24,000/- as full and final settlement of the claim of the complainant. The Company shall make the payment of the said amount within 45 days from the date of the passing the award.

Sh.Bhavraj Singh, Adv. Counsel for the complainant has made a statement to the effect that he has accepted the offer made by Ld. Counsel for the OPs and he is ready to settle the mediclaim of the complainant for a sum of Rs.24,000/- as full & final settlement, failing which OPs shall be liable to pay interest on the said amount.

In view of statement suffered by Ld. Counsel for both the parties and considering the fact that the good sense has prevailed upon the parties and they have settled the matter amicably. So accordingly, the award is passed with the direction to the OPs No.1 & 2 to pay the aforesaid amount of Rs.24,000/- as full & final settlement of claim of the complainant within a period of 45 days from the date of the passing the award, failing which the OPs will be liable to pay interest @ 9% per annum to the complainant from the date of filing of complaint till realisation. The present complaint is accordingly disposed of. Copy of the award be supplied to the parties, free of costs, as per rules. File be consigned to the record room.
