Case record advance today by the strength of the petition filed by the learned counsel for O.P.

The complainant along with learned counsel  Sri. S.K Patra representing the  O.P/ insurance company have jointly filed a petition stating therein that, they have amicably settled the dispute involved in this complaint where upon the complainant is ready to accept Rs.18,000/- towards full &  final settlement of his claim.

Heard the complainant present. It is found that, this compromise is made between the parties on their sweet will without any force, coercion or undue influence so also it is found law full. Accordingly this compromise is allowed. Hence it is ordered.

Order

In view of the aforesaid amicable settlement of the claim this consumer complaint is disposed off with a direction to the O.P to pay Rs.18,000/- to the complainant within one month of receiving of this order. The compromise petition filed by the parties be formed part of this order. Application pending, if any, is also disposed off accordingly.

Office is directed to supply free copy of the order to the parties for their reference and compliance of the order.
