ORDER

SRI.VIJU.V.R: MEMBER

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite party.  When the case came up for consideration on 25/10/2022, both the parties submitted that there is a chance of settlement and hence the matter was referred to the settlement talk scheduled to be held on 12/11/2022.  As per the memo of compromise the opposite party has agreed to pay Rs.90,000/- as full and final settlement of the complainant’s claim in this complaint within 3 weeks from the date of settlement.    The memo of compromise signed and filed by both parties is accepted and recorded.  In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that the complaint is to be allowed in terms of compromise. 

In the result the complaint is allowed in terms of compromise.  The memo of compromise dated 12/11/2022 shall form part of this order.         

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Court, this the 12th  day of November,  2022.
