ORDER

SRI. P. V. JAYARAJAN:  PRESIDENT

          This complaint is filed under Sec. 35 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.  After hearing the matter this Commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties.  After admitting the complaint, notice was issued to the opposite parties.  The opposite parties entered appearance and filed written version denying the allegations raised by the complainant.  When the case came up for consideration on 23.07.2024 both parties submitted that the mediation talk is in progress and there is a fair chance of settlement and hence the case was adjourned to this date for reporting settlement.  When the case came up for consideration today, both parties represented and submitted that the matter is settled.  The counsel appearing for the complainant made an endorsement on the complaint to the effect that the matter is settled and the complainant is not willing to further proceed with this complaint.  In view of the endorsement made by the counsel appearing for the complainant, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled. 

In the result, the complaint is dismissed as settled.  There will be no order as to cost. 

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
