The prayer in the application is for disbursement of a sum of Rs.35,000/- deposited by the appellant in this Commission as a pre-requisite for filing the appeal although, according to the learned counsel for the respondent, the liability of the appellant under the orders passed by this Commission and as affirmed by the Supreme Court is to the extent of 1,25,00,000/-.  We don’t think that it will serve any useful purpose if we make any order for disbursement of the said amount to the respondent.

The application is, accordingly, rejected.  However, the respondent would be free to seek enforcement of the order so passed by this Commission and affirmed by the Supreme Court.
