This complaint has been filed under section 17 of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 for the relief of direction, (1) directing the opposite party to pay the compensation of Rs.45,00,000/- (Rs.25 lakhs for deceased’s wife and Rs.20 lakhs for deceased’s two children).
2. Notice was issued to the opposite party and the opposite party appeared through his counsel and filed reply version.
3. Today when the case is came up for hearing, both parties called absent, none appeared from either side till 12.30 p.m. On perusal of documents, it seems that inspite of repeated adjournments, none appeared on behalf of the complainant. Hence, the complaint is dismissed for default.
In the result, the complaint is dismissed for default. No costs.
