The Complainant is not present.

Today was fixed for further hearing regarding admission of the complaint filed by the Complainant. Previous date we had heard the complainant. 

Today we have gone through the complaint. It appears that the Complainant had entered into an agreement with the O.P. at Mumbai and following the agreement he had paid Rs.8,000/- in cash in the office of the O.P. at Mumbai as security deposit in order to avail job in Film Industry. But the O.P. in spite of receiving the amount did nothing for the Complainant. Hence the Complainant filed the instant complaint  praying for compensation against the O.P.  

We find that the alleged agreement between the Complainant and that O.P. was made at Mumbai and consequent upon the agreement the Complainant paid Rs.8,000/- in cash to the O.P. whose residence is also at Mumbai. 

Since the cause of action had arisen at Mumbai and the O.P's. residence is at Mumbai we are of the opinion that this Forum does not have territorial jurisdiction to entertain the complaint that had been filed by the Complainant in this Forum. 

Hence, we have no other option but to drop the complaint for lack of jurisdiction. 

Consequently the complaint is dropped.
