Today is fixed for passing order in respect of the petition filed by the Ops for dismissing this case on the ground that the complainant side has received the principal amount of Rs.15,000/-.

The complainant side has contested this matter by filing written objection.

Heard both sides.

Considered submission.

Perused the above noted application filed by the Ops.

After going through the materials of this case record it appears that there is no dispute over the issue that the complainant side has received the principal amount of Rs.15,000/- from the Ops as part of settlement.

Complainant side has denied this fact when the Ops has paid Rs.15,000/- to the complainant as a condition of settlement and the complainant side has received the same, the complainant cannot deny the fact of settlement.

As the complainant has received the principal amount from the Ops, this District Commission is of the considered view that there is no further necessity of proceeding with the case.

In the result, it is accordingly,

Ordered

That this Complaint Case being No. 222/2020 be and same is dismissed.

No order is passed as to cost.
