The appellants have assailed the impugned order dated 13/06/2016 passed by the learned District Forum, Ganjam at Berhampur in C.C. no. 66 of 2016.

     Heard learned counsel for the parties.

     The impugned order was passed ex parte against the appelants who are National Insurance Company Limited and Golden Trust Financial Services.

       On consent of learned counsel for the parties, both the appeals are allowed and the impugned order is set aside subject to payment of cost of Rs.2,000/- to be equallyshared by the appellants to respondent no.1/complainnat on the date of appearance before the District Forum. The matter is remnded to the District Forum for disposal on merit in accordance with law after giving opportunity of being heard to the parties, The learned District Forum is directed to dispose of the Consumer Complaint within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the LCR. Parties are directed to appear before the learned District Forum on 10/07/2017 and produce a copy of this order upon which the learned District Forum shall proceed to comply with this order.
