Respondent was not being served in the ordinary way.  Petitioner filed an application to serve the respondent by substituted service by way of publication, which was allowed and the petitioner was directed to serve the respondent by way of publication in ‘Deccan Herald’ – English and ‘Prajavani’ – Kannada, one insertion each.  Counsel for the petitioner has filed proof of service by publication.

          Respondent is not present.  Ordered to be proceeded ex parte.

          Amount involved in the present case is only 6,056/-.  Since the amount is very small, we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order.  Dismissed.

          However, impugned order be not taken as precedent for future reference.
