CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO. 737  OF  2022

ORDER

1.   Vide his separate statement recorded on 12.10.2023, Sh.Ashok Kumar, Repair Engineer/Authorized Representative of OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OPs shall pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.18,000/- to the complainant within three weeks from today(12.10.2023) towards full and final settlement of the present matter, failing which the OPs shall be liable to pay the aforesaid amount alongwith interest @ 10% p.a. from the date of filing of present consumer complaint. It has been further stated by him that the Sony Headphone in question is already lying with the OPs and as per settlement, the complainant shall return the cable of Sony Headphone in question to the OPs within a week from today(12.10.2023). Vide his separate statement recorded on 12.10.2023, Sh.Tarandeep Singh, Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of Sh.Ashok Kumar, Repair Engineer/Authorized Representative of OPs and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement in Upbhokta Lok Adalat.

2.   An application for withdrawal of complaint has been received from the complainant through the registry stating that as per settlement, payment of Rs.18,000/- has been received and charging cable has been returned to OP. In view of the application received, the present consumer complaint is dismissed as withdrawn being fully satisfied. 

3.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
