SRI. P.V. JAYARAJAN,  PRESIDENT:

 

 

This is a complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986.  The brief facts of the complaint is that the complainant has purchased two Sony TVs from the opposite party on 20.04.2012 by paying a sum of Rs.1,25,000/-(Rupees One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand).  Complainant alleges some defects in the product purchased by him from the opposite party.  The opposite parties filed version with serious contentions and denying the allegations of deficiency in service levelled against the opposite parties.  This case was posted to 17.02.2021 for cross examination of the complainant. 

On 21.01.2021 the complainant filed a memo before this commission stating that he is not willing to further proceed with the case.  The complainant further sought permission from this commission to withdraw the complaint numbered as C.C.55/2019 on the file of this commission.  The case was suo moto advanced from 17.02.2021 to this date for consideration.  In view of the memo filed by the complainant dated 21.01.2021, the complainant is hereby permitted to withdraw the complaint number C.C.55/2019 on the file of this commission.

In the result the complaint is disposed off accordingly.  The parties will bear their respective costs.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
