This complaint filed under section 12 of Consumer Protection Act 1986 and stood over to this date for consideration and this Commission passed the following order.

2.       This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite parties alleging deficiency in service on the part of the opposite parties. The first opposite party was called absent and set exparte and the case was adjourned for taking steps against second opposite party.

 

3.       When the case came up for consideration today the opposite party filed a settlement letter issued by the complainant to the opposite party which contains the signature of complainant. For the said settlement letter the complainant has stated that the grievances have been redressed by replacing the product and he has no claim against the opposite party and is not willing to proceed with this case. The settlement letter issued by the complainant is accepted and recorded. In view of the memo of settlement filed by the complainant, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.

                 In the result, the complaint is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.

               A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
