Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The District Forum found deficiency in service on the part of the present petitioner since the petitioner was not affiliated with the concerned  University. The District Forum also found that the complainant had lost one educational year due to which total amount of Rs.5,000/- only was awarded which included tuition fee paid as well as cost.

This order of the District Forum was not challenged by the present petitioner before the State Commission which means that the present petitioner was satisfied with the substantive findings of the District Forum about deficiency in service. The State Commission enhanced the total compensation to be paid to Rs.30,000/- which in our opinion is quite fair, just, reasonable and equitable in the facts and circumstances of the case

since the petitioner did not have even affiliation with the concerned University and the complainant had lost one year.

In view of the above, we are not inclined to interfere in the order of the State Commission. The revision is accordingly dismissed with no order as to costs.
