ORDER

 

 

  1. The present appeal has been preferred by the opposite parties for challenging the order dated 05.07.2022 passed by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Faridabad whereby the complaint preferred by the respondents was allowed and directions issued to the appellant bank to return the original title documents in respect of Plot No.672, Sector 7-B, Faridabad and to pay compensation and litigation expenses.
  2. Upon notice, respondents put in appearance through their counsel Ms. Gitanjali Sharma who has filed the power of attorney. The appeal is now pending for final hearing.
  3. Proxy counsel appearing for the appellants states that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and pursuant to the same, documents have been returned to the respondents. Under these circumstances, nothing remains to be adjudicated upon in the present appeal.
  4. In view of the above, the appeal is hereby dismissed as withdrawn as the matter stands amicably settled.
  5. The statutory amount of Rs.22,000/- deposited by the appellantswhile filing the appeal be reimbursed to the appellants against proper receipt and identification.
  6. Application(s) pending, if any, stand disposed of in terms of the aforesaid order.
  7. A copy of this order be provided to all the parties free of cost as mandated by the law. The order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties.
  8. File be consigned to record room along with a copy of this order.
