None for applicant is present. Therefore, we have no opportunity to hear the applicant. This is an application for restoring the appeal dismissed for default. Therefore, we proceed to disposed off this appeal in the absence of applicant.

Perused the application under order which reflects that the appeal bearing No. 1477/99 came to be dismissed for default by this Commission vide order dated 18/04/2007. Although the applicant has shown some grounds for restoration of appeal, since there is no provision in the Consumer Protection Act to restore the appeal dismissed in default,the same ground shown in the application can not be considered, as this Commission has no power to restore the appeal dismissed for default. Hence the application under order stands dismissed.
