It is stated by Shri Rajendra Kumar, Regional Manager of the petitioner as well as counsel for respondent that both the parties have amicably settled the matter for a total sum of Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakhs fifty thousand only). In pursuance of the settlement, petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakhs fifty thousand only) to the respondent by way of cheque in his name today itself in the Court. Further, it is pointed out by the Regional Manager of the petitioner, that in terms of order dated 13.10.2008 passed by this Commission, petitioner deposited 50% of the awarded amount with this Commission and the same be refunded to the petitioner. Counsel for respondent has no objection in this regard. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the revision petition stands disposed of accordingly. Amount lying deposited with this Commission, if any in terms of order dated 13.10.2008, be paid to the petitioner along with interest, if any.
