Sh. Vijay Pal Tiwari, learned counsel for the appellant; Sh. Prem Kumar Dewal, learned counsel for respondent No. 1 and Sh. Sudhanshu Dwivedi, learned counsel for respondent No. 2, are present.
A Compromise Deed has been filed on behalf of the appellant and respondent No. 1, stating therein that they have settled the dispute by way of compromise, on payment of Rs. 1,25,000/- by the appellant to respondent No. 1 / complainant.
Respondent No. 1 / complainant, who is also present in person, has endorsed on the copy of cheque No. 670398 dated 15.03.2023 for Rs. 1,25,000/- drawn on Punjab National Bank, AVPA, Jwalapur, Haridwar, issued by the appellant, regarding receipt of the original cheque.
Learned counsel for the parties submit that since the appellant and respondent No. 1 have settled their dispute in terms of the compromise, hence this appeal may be decided accordingly and the amount deposited by the appellant with this Commission, be released.
The Compromise Deed has been verified by learned counsel for the appellant and respondent No. 1.
Order
Accordingly, the appeal is decided in terms of the compromise, which shall form part of the order.
The amount deposited by the appellant with this Commission, be released in her favour.
