Learned counsel for petitioner seeks time to deposit the cost as imposed earlier. On 20.02.2014, the following order was passed in this revision petition: “Adjournment cost of Rs.2,500/- imposed upon the petitioner to be paid to the respondent by way of demand draft in his name, within four weeks in terms of order dated 21.10.2013, has not been paid so far. On a query put to learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether needful has been done within the specified period, he could not give any satisfactory answer. As per report of the Registry also the proof of payment has not been filed by the petitioner. Be that as it may, on 27.11.2012 counsel for petitioner was directed to place on record the copies of the documents which were filed before the fora below within six weeks and the matter was adjourned to 8.3.2013. On 8.3.2013, one proxy counsel appeared on behalf of Mr. K.L. Nandwani, Advocate and sought adjournment on the ground that arguing counsel is busy and as such matter was adjourned to 21.10.2013. On 21.10.2013, last opportunity was granted to the petitioner to comply with the order within four weeks as observed above. Even on 21.10.2013, no documents were filed by the petitioner. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner is trying to obtain the documents and as such need further time. Keeping in view the above conduct of the petitioner that petitioner itself is delaying the revision petitions filed by it, in the interest of justice, last opportunity is granted to the petitioner to file the documents as per order dated 27.11.2012 passed by this Commission within four weeks, subject to payment of total cost of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) in the above noted cases. Previous adjournment cost be remitted to the respondent within four weeks and today’s adjournment cost be deposited by way of demand draft in the name of ‘Consumer Legal Aid Account’ of this Commission, within four weeks. In case of non-compliance of the above directions within the specified period, the above noted petitions shall stand dismissed automatically without any further orders. List on 8.10.2014 for admission hearing. Copy of today’s proceeding be also sent to the Petitioner-Nigam’s Chairman.” Since, petitioner has not been complied with the above order as well as cost imposed has not been deposited within the specified period, the present revision petitions stand dismissed for non-compliance of the orders passed by this Commission.
