Heard Sh. S.K. Gupta, learned counsel for the applicant through video conferencing.

This miscellaneous application has been filed by the applicant for releasing the amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only), which was deposited by the applicant towards mandatory deposit while filing First Appeal No. 138 of 2014; Tata Motors Limited Vs. Smt. Kamlesh Garg and others as well as further amount of     Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lacs Only), which was deposited by the applicant in compliance of stay order dated 22.08.2014 passed in the aforesaid appeal.

The appeal filed by the applicant was allowed by this Commission per order dated 17.02.2022 and the judgment and order passed by the District Commission was set aside and consumer complaint was dismissed. 

Accordingly, the miscellaneous application is allowed and the aforesaid amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) and Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lacs Only) deposited by the applicant, be released in favour of the applicant.
