Final Order / Judgement

The applicant – Life Insurance Corporation of India has moved an application, with the prayer that the statutory amount deposited at the time of filing the appeal, be released in its favour.

Perusal of the record reveals that the appeal was finally disposed of by this Commission vide order dated 16.04.2018 and thereunder, the decretal amount of       Rs. 8,47,411/- has already been paid by the Life Insurance Corporation of India. 

Once the award has fully been satisfied, the statutory amount needs to be released in favour of Life Insurance Corporation of India. 

Accordingly, the FDR in question be handed over to the applicant.  The application, thus, stands disposed of.
