Heard Sh. Deepak Ahluwalia, learned counsel for the applicants and perused the record.

This miscellaneous application has been filed by the applicants for releasing the amount of Rs. 25,000/-, which was deposited by the applicants towards mandatory deposit while filing First Appeal No. 218 of 2013; Life Insurance Corporation of India and another Vs. Smt.  Santosh.

The aforesaid appeal was filed by the applicants before this Commission against the judgment and order dated 09.07.2013 passed by the District Commission, Udhamsingh Nagar in consumer complaint No. 95 of 2011; Smt. Santosh Vs. Life Insurance Corporation of India.

This Commission vide order dated 15.04.2019 has partly allowed the aforesaid appeal.

According to office report dated 03.04.2024 / 16.04.2024, the applicants have paid the entire decretal amount to the opposite party, which has been received by the opposite party on 08.06.2019.  

In view of above, the miscellaneous application is allowed.  The aforesaid amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) deposited by the applicants with this Commission, be released in favour of the applicants.

File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.
