None responds on behalf of the applicants inspite of several calls.
We have perused the record.
This miscellaneous application has been filed by the applicants for releasing the amount of Rs. 25,000/-, which was deposited by the applicants towards mandatory deposit while filing First Appeal No. 87 of 2017; Reliance Life Insurance Company Limited and others Vs. Smt. Reena Chaturvedi.
The aforesaid appeal was filed by the applicants before this Commission against the judgment and order dated 17.04.2017 passed by the District Commission, Dehradun in consumer complaint No. 354 of 2014; Smt. Reena Chaturvedi Vs. Reliance Life Insurance Company Limited and others.
This Commission vide order dated 27.04.2023 has partly allowed and aforesaid appeal and modified the judgment and order passed by the District Commission.
According to office report dated 19.12.2023 / 19.022.2024, in compliance of judgment and order dated 27.04.2023 passed by this Commission, the applicants have deposited the entire decretal amount before the District Commission and the District Commission vide order dated 31.07.2023 has finally disposed of execution application No. 27 of 2017; Smt. Reena Chaturvedi Vs. Reliance Life Insurance Company Limited and others, in full satisfaction.
In view of above, the miscellaneous application is allowed. The aforesaid amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) deposited by the applicants with this Commission, be released in favour of the applicants.
File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.
