The record is placed before this Lok Adalat held on 11.12.2021 in the main room of this Commission.
After perusing the record and the hearing the complainant and the Ld. Advocate of the OP it is found that the sum of Rs. 3,44,465/- is still due from the OPs.
It is also ascertained that the complainant is entitled to interest on Rs. 13,44,465/- at the rate of 7% per annum with effect from 03.08.2015. The interest amount may be worked out as Rs. 5,97,592/-. The Ld. Advocate of the Op agrees to pay the same.
Hence, it is ordered that the case be and the same is disposed of by way of settlement the Op is directed to pay Rs. 3,44,465/- within 40 days hence.
He is also directed to pay to the complainant is interest at the rate of 7% per annum on Rs. 13,44,465/- with effect from 03.08.2015 i.e. to say Rs. 5,97,592/- in demand draft within 40 days hence.
The complainant is at liberty to put a decree into execution in case of non compliance.
Let plain copy be given to the parties free of cost, as per CPR.
